BTS to attended 75th United Nations General Assembly

BTS, South President Moon Jae In is scheduled to attend the 75th UN General Assembly as special envoys promoting South Korea’s future growth and culture. In short, BTS has been appointed as the official cultural ambassadors of South Korea.

According to Blue House spokesperson Park Kyung Mi on July 21, chairman Moon said, “By this time in South Korea, BTS is appointed to act as special ambassadors for Korea’s growth and culture to expand the country’s diplomatic power and global recognition.”

It was also emphasized that “it is a collaborative effort with professionals in the field of civic culture whose stage is the world, to enhance South Korea’s image as a nation leading on global issues.”

BTS‘s first official event as presidential ambassadors is 75th, which will take place in September, when they are going to participate in the United Nations General Assembly. BTS plans to convey a message of hope and comfort to the youth of the world. From now on, BTS is expected to collaborate with various international organizations in areas such as environmental protection, poverty, diversity as presidential ambassadors representing South Korea.
