Big Hit Entertainment, which is the BTS’s agency, biggest company in K-Pop and also the fifth-largest company in Korea has announced that they will soon release a new girl group. Big Hit Entertainment is the host of many bands like TXT, Enhypen, Gfriend, Seventeen, Nu’est, as well as BTS. Gfriend, the only girl group affiliated with Big Hit, works in collaboration with Big Hit and Source Music. It was said that the upcoming girl group will also debut in collaboration with Source Music, like Gfriend. Additionally, it was announced that the new girl group will be led by Brand Ambassador and former SM director Min Hee Jin.

It will be the first girl group to debut under the Big Hit brand after Gfriend. The concept of the new rookie girl group will likely be inspired from the anime “Sailor Moon”, where magical and extraterrestrial powers are abundant. Big Hit likes these types of concepts. If you remember, the vampire concept was chosen as the debut theme of Big Hit’s latest debut boy group ENHYPEN.

In previous statements about the new girl group, it was confirmed that the girl group members will have backgrounds from different parts of the world and languages. Aespa, the girl group that debuted under SM Entertainment in 2020 and attracted great attention, also consists of four talented and beautiful girls from different backgrounds. The number and identities of members of Big Hit’s new group and when it will debut are eagerly awaited.
