35th Japanese Gold Disc Awards Winners: BTS, TXT, Stray Kids and SEVENTEEN

The 2021 winners of the Japanese Gold Disc Awards have been announced, and multiple K-Pop idol groups have received awards this year. On March 15, 2021. The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) announced the winners of the 35th of Japanese Disc Awards.

BTS has received eight awards this year. In particular, BTS won the Best Asian Artist, Asian Album of the Year (Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~) and Best Asian Music Video.

The best 3 Asian album awards of the year came to SEVENTEEN “24H”, BTS “Map of The Soul: 7” and “Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~”.

BTS’s award-winning song “Dynamite” won three awards: Asia’s Most Downloaded Song, Asia’s Most Popular Online Song, and One of the Best Streaming Songs.

TXT made its first Japanese debut in 2020. Japan outlets for 2020 brought two awards to TXT. One of the Asia Best New Artist of the Year and Best New Artist Awards went to TXT.

Stray Kids also received the Best New Artist Award. Like TXT, Stray Kids made their Japan debut last year.
